Filemón, chef, owner, and namesake of this San Antonio burger joint is a seasoned professional in the burger business, and who other than to know the full challenges and triumphant backstory is his son and Operations Manager, Diego Enriquez. With the unconditional support of local grocery suppliers and trusted resources to ensure quality freshness, Filé’s menu is tough to beat and even more mouth-watering.
“Our statement is making sure everything is made fresh like we’re making it for a friend,” Enriquez said.
Diego and his family take frequent trips to his parent’s ancestral origins in Dolores Hidalgo, Mexico, where they gather inspiration and familial roots to bring back to their own restaurant. Not only do they take into account family ties, but also the loyal opinion of their treasured customers. For example, the Low Carb Burger was brought onto the menu as a healthier option for individuals watching their carbohydrate intake! A burger’s taste is equal to its presentation is important to Chef Filé and his family business, as is great customer service and a welcoming burger place to their customers, as well.
