Where to Celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day 2021

Looking for an excuse to drink with your friends? It’s coming up this March 17th, when we honor the Saint who rid Ireland of snakes by throwing them all in the ocean. Round up all of your Irish pals and take them for a good time at one of these restaurants. Don’t forget to wear your green, or a leprechaun will pinch you.

Conroy’s is a friendly neighborhood restaurant with a full bar and an extensive menu. They’re open until 2 AM, and they throw down on Saint Patrick’s day. You’re likely to catch some live music too if you stop by at night. You can get some great signature drinks like the Mango Martini, and can eat anything from orange chicken to lamb shepherd’s pie.

Durty Nelly’s Irish PubHilton Palacio del Rio, San Antonio TX

Durty Nelly’s has a roster of piano men who play for the patrons Thursday through Saturday, that along with the pub food, beer, and decor will have you thinking you’ve been transported overseas. Coincidentally, the place is actually a replica of a 200 year old bar by the same name in Ireland.

Waxy O’Connor’sRiver Walk, San Antonio TX

This pub was actually built in Ireland. Like they built it, packed it up, and shipped it to Texas, to then be built by a team of Irish carpenters. Talk about commitment. They have the Irish pub food and beer to match, so if you’re looking for somewhere authentic to celebrate St Partrick’s, look no further. If you come after 9 PM on any given night, you’ll even get to enjoy some live guitar played by the house musician.
