A baker's shop in Boerne is going above and beyond with freshly baked cookies shipped nationally and toasted s'more flambe for your fresh-out-of-the-oven delight!
BOERNE, TEXAS- Nov. 3, 2022- Freshness is an understatement at Opal and Onyx Cookie Company as they welcomed us into their shop to the aromas of cookie dough and cake batter in a lovely setting bursting with color and sweetness. Not only can you sink your teeth into freshly baked cookies, but they also have coffee, a variety of lemonade mixes, and more.
In the spirit of the holiday season, we were granted the privilege of trying the Snickerdoodle and S'mores cookie. The marshmallow on the rich fudge cookie is blowtorched, which gives the warm feeling of s'mores in front of the campfire. Opalescent Sugar and Cavernous Chocolate Chip are favorites that will have you making a U-Turn back to the shop after just one bite.
While you satisfy your sweet tooth, you can also browse and shop the local vendors that Opal and Onyx features right in their shop! Homemade artisanal and organic soaps, cleansing materials, jewelry, and all kinds of fun items that work great as gifts, as well.
Opal and Onyx are the sweethearts of Boerne, with endless flavorful possibilities to bring to your friends and family. Their fall flavors are Pumpkin Cheese Cake and Gingersnap! As we enter more into the winter season, they will also feature cranberry-based cookies. They have weekly cookies, the four mainstays being Cookies & Crème, Chocolate Chip, Sugar, and Oatmeal. And each week, they have three to four new flavors that are occasionally rotated, so keep an eye out for those by following their social media!
