Eight Ball Coffee is a brotherly-owned specialty coffee shop in San Antonio run by Joseph Ontiveros and Benjamin Ontiveros. Stop in for an espresso, cortado, cappuccino, or latte. Other options include matcha and summer refreshers. Come in and make it the start of your morning.
SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS - Oct. 12, 2022, Eight Ball Coffee was inspired by the murals the Ontiveros brothers were raised around in the Westside of San Antonio. Not quite a big name in the community, but the Ontiveros brothers will guarantee constancy in their coffee. To provide the best for their customers, Eight Ball Coffee makes sure that all measurements are constant across the grid down to the temperature. Eight Ball Coffee receives its roast from Creature Coffee Co., based out of Austin, Texas.
Although Eight Ball Coffee is still a youthful coffee shop, it has a diverse clientele from the community. You will be surprised by the different faces you see coming in to enjoy some coffee. Wanting to bring the community together, Eight Ball Coffee is a place that welcomes all, even kids. With five different syrups to choose from Coco Cajeta, Lavender, Mocha, Salted Caramel, and Vanilla. The Ontiveros brothers are into the spirit of the season currently; they have a specialty coffee called Live, Laugh, Love, pretty much fall served in a cup. What is fall without pumpkin spice and cinnamon? If you are nutty for pecans, their Pecan Stew drink is the go-too, with their pecans marinated in vanilla syrup.
"We're open to being friends with everybody, and we want everybody to come out," Ontiveros said.
Currently, a stationary coffee shop on wheels in front of La Segunda Bartique and Gallery Eight Ball Coffee wants to be more established in the community with a dream of expanding their business in the coming years. The Ontiveros brothers' current focus is getting their name out and continuing to give their customers the coffee that will continue to be served with a smile and consistency.
Eight Ball Coffee is here to continue to spread joy through a cup of coffee. They are hosting every First Friday at La Segunda Bartique and Gallery, with times starting at 6 pm so that you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the evening. Currently, they have an open
schedule to be a part of events in the San Antonio area.
